Golf Solitaire: how a round works

Before making a move, check the cards in view. Remove all 35 tableau cards. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Use another round to revisit a decision. A clear plan starts with the current position. Take an exposed bottom card one rank above or below the waste top, allowing ace–king wrapping. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

Seven columns of five, one stock pass. Free solo play, no wagering.

Build familiarity through play

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Tap exposed cards that satisfy the removal rule shown above. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

An example to follow

A common point of confusion

Begin with the objective. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Use another round to revisit a decision.
