Learn your way around Crazy Eights
Read the position before choosing your next action. Empty your hand by matching the active suit or the top card’s rank. Eights let you choose the next suit. Each player starts with five cards from a standard 52-card deck. The starting discard is not an eight.
Two-player free play with a local computer opponent. No draw-two stacking or reverse cards. A refreshed page starts a new round.

Step by step
- Each player starts with five cards from a standard 52-card deck. The starting discard is not an eight.
- Play one matching card. An eight is always playable; choose its suit using the suit selector before tapping the card.
- After an eight, match the called suit or play another eight. The eight’s printed suit is not the active suit.
- Draw one card at a time when needed. Drawing does not end your turn; keep drawing or play a legal card.
- The stock is not recycled. With no stock and no legal card, pass. Two consecutive passes end the round in a draw.
- The first empty hand wins. New round deals again.

Pay attention to this rule
Take a moment to check the current turn. Do not assume that every eight keeps its printed suit. The called suit is shown beside the discard pile. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
